BHT Environ Listed in First List of Organizations for Development of National Encouraged Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment (2017)

 

To implement the Catalogue of National Encouraged Key Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment (2017) and facilitate contact between suppliers of equipment included in the catalogue and buyers, the China Association of Machinery Industry for Environmental Protection started compiling lists of organizations for development of equipment included in the catalogue, and has published the First List of Organizations for Development of National Encouraged Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment (2017) after expert assessment and public disclosure. Beijing Bohuite Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (“BHT Environ”) was included in the first list with its “Distributed Point Source Wastewater Treatment Plant”.


Environmental protection equipment manufacturing is an important part of the energy saving and environmental protection industry, providing the technical and material basis for environmental protection. Development of environmental equipment manufacturing is an important measure for preventing environmental pollution and promoting green development of industries. The Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee put forward the development concepts of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, with green development as one of the five major development concepts, providing new opportunities for development of China's environmental protection equipment manufacturing. At present and in a certain period of the future, China is imposing the most stringent environmental protection system, focusing on improvement of the environmental quality, which will bring huge market space for development of environmental protection equipment manufacturing. Development and expansion of green manufacturing and cultivation of new economic growth possibilities have put forward new and higher requirements for environmental protection equipment manufacturing.

From the perspective of the industry’s development, environmental protection equipment manufacturing is shifting from fast growth to the new stage of sustained and stable growth. The traditional market is becoming saturated, and the emerging market is expanding gradually. Implementation of "Made in China 2025" and the 13th Five-Year Plan for Development of National Strategic Emerging Industries, and comprehensive promotion of green manufacturing, centering on the goals and tasks of green development, and acceleration of sustainable and healthy development of environmental protection equipment manufacturing are of great importance to deepening of the supply side structural reform, realization of effective supply of advanced environmental protection equipment, and promotion of green development.

To address the characteristics of rural wastewater in China, BHT Environ has developed the BioComb (Bioreactor-Clarifier Combo) integrated systems for distributed biological treatment.

BioComb is a high-end compact integrated wastewater treatment system developed by BHT Environ for small or mobile distributed wastewater treatment plants based on experience in biochemical treatment in the US and Europe. With all equipment installed in a standard container, the system can be easily transferred, featuring low energy consumption, small footprint, easy operation, high standard of discharged water and various options. 

The water discharged from BioComb systems may meet the requirements for class 1B or 1A (or A+) defined in GB18918-2002 Pollutant Discharge Standard of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants while consuming power of 0.1 – 0.2 kWh per tonne of water discharged. Models with discharged water quality at the quasi-class 4 surface water may be developed for specific projects as necessary.

By incorporating wind and solar modules, the system almost requires no extra power supply in the day. Remote data modules allow remote monitoring and alarm sending, and unattended operation, minimizing daily operational costs and return period of investment.

Moreover, BioComb is of a highly intensive integrated structure design, significantly reducing land use, civil construction costs, and operational costs with appropriately allocated functional units, ideal for decentralized treatment of rural wastewater and other point sources.
